Keep Yourself Warm and Stylish this Season with These Fashionable Winter Clothes
I don’t know about you, but from where I am it’s freezing outside.
As much as I want to enjoy the Spring/Summer Collections, I can’t stop looking at all those people wearing UGGs and old-fashioned coats or Russian-like hats to keep them warm.
And I keep wondering if they still don’t realize that one can be fashionable and in the same time have an cozy outfit.
So here they are, the most fashionable choices for a harsh winter:
They’re a must and the longer the better. The MARC BY MARC JACOBS Black logo-quilted nylon rubber boots are a perfect choice. Rubber at the sole to protect you from rainy and snowy days alike.
They come with tonal paneling throughout the upper textile part. Fully lined, the boots will keep your feet warm. The quilted upper part is embroidered and has also a signature logo.
What’s more important is that the Marc by Marc Jacobs rubber boots are different from the classical UGGs or the overly used full rubber ones. It’s this simple mix that makes the difference. Of course, if you’re a little of a snob, you can also count the fact they’re Marc Jacobs. I’ve found them available for $175 here.
I truly hate the puffer ones and even though they keep you really warm, they also make you look like a giant ball. So I’ve found the perfect alternative: a nice black shearling leather from R13.
Probably the brand won’t tell you much by they really are a statement in terms of denim and coats. So here it is, a long sleeve biker jacket in textured black shearling with tonal paneling throughout and notched lapel collar with gunmetal-tone press-studs.
It’s made in Italy and has 100% genuine ram shearling. You should also consider that even our ancestors used shearling to face harsh weather. $1825 and it’s 50% off, available here.
In this case you cave endless possibilities but this VANESSA BRUNO Teal Metalized Yarn Bead Sweater kind of popped out in my face. You don’t really need pro’s to like it or buy it, seeing it is enough.
Still, just telling you the obvious: it’s a Long sleeve textile sweater in black, teal, dark purple and blue. Less obvious are the tonal reflective bead accents throughout, the crew-neck collar and the ribbed cuffs and hem. You can buy it from Ssense.com for $230.
I might have chosen a little eccentric hat but, yet again, you don’t want to look like your grandma. In fact, it’s a beautiful Charcoal Equestrian Hat by KENZO. Tonal stitching, fully lined and 100% wool.
It also has quilted ear flap panel in black with cut out detail at back. You’ll find as well an adjustable leatherette tab with snap button closure at the back. Does that sound enough cozy for you? The Kenzo Hat is $322 and available here.
I found a stylish pair from MOSCHINO in red with a gold-tone bar with symbols that should remind us of peace and love.
So, 100% cashmere lining & red leather and a constant reminder of humanity’s core values. Ironically, all of that comes with a price: $220 from Forzieri.
